Transportation Services and Activities

There are many types of transportation available to explore the Angkor temples. Whether you prefer the comfort of an air-conditioned car or van or the excitement of a Tuk-Tuk. I will arrange the safest and most comfortable option for you.

The Cambodian countryside is both beautiful and safe. The mines from our turbulent recent history have been completely removed from any areas of any tours I take you on – so there is nothing at all to worry about!

Besides the temples in Angkor Complex, some tourists enjoy a variety of different places in Cambodia. The more adventurous people can rent mountain bikes or hike / trek cross-country to places of interest, and you can even stay in a Cambodian village for a true taste of local life! No trip is ever complete without a visit to our famous floating villages on the Tonle Sap lake, the largest freshwater lake in South Asia! Only Lake Baikal is larger in the world!

Kampong Khleang:
is located northern edge of the fresh water lake. It is 55 km from the city.

This trip can be combined with Beng Melea, a 12th century temple. The whole community has some five thousand stilt houses built on the shore and by the side of the river. In dry season, the houses are about 10 meters above the ground. There are more then 10,000 people living in these houses. They build them very close together, and make for fantastic photo opportunities of this traditional community. During the monsoon season, the water  sometimes rises up to the floor of their houses. Boat rides  during the dry season and rainy season are totally different. Boat rides will take 2 hours to see everything: the villages, schools, market boats, and floating houses.

Kampong Phluk: is one of the lakeside attractions on another part of Tonle Sap. It is situated 20 km from Siem Reap city. The trip to this place can be combined with Roulos Group: Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko. Kampong Phluk means Harbour of the Tusks. The journey to visit Kampong Pluk includes visiting stilt houses, school children, and fishermen doing their fishing. Above all, Kampong Pluk has its unique flooded forests you can not find anywhere else in Cambodia.

Also, if somebody wants to donate something to the poor primary school, you can buy something like books or other school materials from the city to the children. Connected by busy waterways, the highway is used by the people with boats full to the brim paddle their way between villages. Most people make their living from fishing here, and the scenery is beautiful.

Chong Kneas
: is on the south of Siem Reap city. It is situated some 14 km from Siem Reap city. Chong Kneas is where the boats arrive from Battambong and Phnom Penh to dock. It is one of four big tourist attractions in Siem Reap. It is has thousands of boats waiting for tourists. This is a bit touristy but visitors are not going to see the floating villages by the same boats. They will hire a private boat which takes them to see the floating houses. Life depends on fishing for these people. Visitors to this place will see fish farms of most fresh water fish raised here, crocodile farms, snakes carried by children, many kinds of fishing traps made of bamboo, a Vietnamese village, and Khmere or Cambodian village. These two villages are separate. Other than that, you will also see the hammocks made of water hyacinth.

Cambodian Cultural village: is located on national 6 to the airport. This place is a popular tourist attraction. It is set up for those tourists who don't have a lot of time to learn about the way of life of the tribal people. Inside is a collection of attractions such as a Wax Museum, Millionaire House, Souvenirs, a Cham Village, Chinese Village, Kroeng Village, Cambodian Immigrants to Oversea Village, Khmer Village, Miniatures, Phnorng Village, and Surin Village.

The other activities: Landmine Museum, Angkor National Museum, Prey Toal: bird sanctuary, Silk Farm, Shooting Range, Happy Ranch, Quad bike, , Helicopter.
